About P.D.A.
Preservation and Decorative Arts was founded on the belief that the spaces we inhabit, along with the artwork and finishes within them, hold powerful stories worth preserving. Led by Jacintha Kruc, an accomplished conservator, muralist, and decorative painter with over two decades of experience, PDA is rooted in a deep respect for craftsmanship, tradition, and beauty.
Jacintha brings a unique, interdisciplinary perspective to her work, drawing from her background in fine art, scenic painting, historic preservation, and hands-on conservation practice. With extensive experience leading decorative and conservation projects across Pennsylvania and beyond, she has developed a reputation for combining technical rigor with a refined artistic sensibility. Her work includes major public and private commissions at sites such as the Pennsylvania State Capitol, Girard College Founders Hall, and Penn State Old Main.
From ornate 19th-century ceilings to delicate reverse glass clock dials, Jacintha and the PDA team bridge the technical with the artistic, offering clients the highest level of care, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity. Whether restoring a landmark or collaborating on a new decorative vision, every project is guided by authenticity, excellence, and a deep love for materials and form.
Based in Philadelphia, the studio serves cultural institutions, private collectors, interior designers, architects, and preservation professionals throughout the region. PDA is proudly female-owned and operated, with an ethos grounded in clear communication, transparency, collaboration, and care.
We believe in the power of craft, the beauty of age, and the importance of preserving both with respect and integrity.
